Uninstall Simpli from a Mac

Simpli Uninstaller removes the Simpli app, its background services, its settings and the permissions you gave it, whether Simpli was installed for all users of the Mac or for yourself only.

Installed for all users of this Mac?

The latest Simpli installs for one account at a time, and its installer won't run until the copy for all users is removed. That copy's cases won't carry over: if you keep its data, it stays in /Users/Shared/@Simpli, which the latest Simpli doesn't use. If you need those cases, contact us before you uninstall.

How to uninstall

Open the disk image you downloaded, if your browser hasn't opened it already. It's in your Downloads folder.
Double-click Simpli Uninstaller in the window that appears, and click Open if your Mac asks. It lists what it found, including whether Simpli was installed for all users or for yourself only.
To keep your data, uncheck Delete Simpli data. It's checked by default, and leaving it checked deletes your cases, imported documents, exports and downloaded AI models for good.
Click Uninstall. If Simpli was installed for all users, enter an administrator's name and password when your Mac asks. Keep the window open until it says Simpli has been removed.
Install the latest Simpli from your downloads page. If Simpli was installed for yourself only and you kept your data, the new installation picks up where you left off.
